International Yoga Day and Summer Solstice Deep Hatha Workshop at the National Hotel Miami Beach followed by a light reception

In celebration of International Yoga Day and the Summer Solstice on Friday, June 21st, The National Hotel is hosting a special soul-gratifying poolside yoga session in the evening while taking advantage of the longest day of the year. Starting at 6:30 p.m., yogi enthusiasts will be taken on a mindful two-and-a-half-hour journey followed by a reception featuring healthy light bites and a beverage at the hotel’s Aqua Club and Lounge.
Led by renowned international instructor Jenny Cornero, the Indian Style (Hatha) yoga class will pay tribute to a “mindful humankind connection” that will spread peace in the world. This special workshop will be 2.5 hours of deep yoga practice.
As a bilingual, certified instructor with more than 23 years teaching experience, Cornero has traveled the world giving lectures and leading yoga workshops in Spain, Germany, Mexico and Argentina. She earned her certification from the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta School in the Bahamas and studied under Sri Dharma Mittra in New York City. Locally, she taught at The Synergy Center for Yoga and the Healing Arts, where she oversaw the biannual teacher training course for four years, and co-founded the House of Yoga Miami. She has also produced “Yoga for Health with Jenny Cornero”, a DVD series with 16 titles, streamed by Netflix.
Tickets for the class and light reception are $35 per person. Price includes one beverage ticket (valid for juice, house wine or the National’s signature Solstice Mocktail per person and chef’s choice of healthy light bites. Yoga mat is not included. The hotel will have mats available for rent for $2 per mat (plus 7% sales tax). This class is open to all levels.
